Our Personal Support Workers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Whether they are employed on a part-time or full-time contract, these dedicated individuals assist consumers with many aspects of their personal care and mobility.

By providing 'Person-Centered' support, SHHC Inc. empowers our consumers by tailoring their care to their own unique needs, interests, requests, and preferences.

Please apply if you possess ALL of the following:

  • A PSW or DSW certificate

  • A valid Canadian Driver’s License and regular access to a reliable vehicle

  • Valid automobile insurance

  • A current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (or will obtain one)

  • Able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You understand the nature of our work and the importance of good attendance and reliability

  • You can rotate on Pager and On-call pager responsibilities as a normal part of your rotation

  • You understand the importance of proper body mechanics and safe lifting/ transferring techniques

We offer competitive rates, on the job training, development opportunities, Emergency First Aid and CPR (re)certification are also provided by the agency.
